Following in the footsteps of their parents and older siblings, Maddi Urban (yes, of those Urbans) and Avery Parsons have embarked on their own musical journey, ready to pave their own way up the charts with their pop group, Touching Fire.
Urban, born in a time of chaos for her parents, has been best friends with Parsons (daughter of former Angels of Helfire guitar player and Blink 81 drummer Blake Ramsay and the late Desiree Parsons of Little Angels) practically since the day Parsons was born.
Raised primarily by her brother Gavin McLoughlin and his mother Taryn, Parsons spent her early years alongside Urban, as McLoughlin was often saddled with babysitting duty for the young girls. After her mother's death, she was adopted by Taryn.
Originally set to follow in footsteps of Angels of Hellfire, the girls found they preferred the pep that pop provided them, distinguishing themselves from their relatives that have come before. The duo is already anxious to begin their first tour, but they know it's first things first: getting enough material for a debut album. They'll be sitting down in the studio in Year 75 with producers McLoughlin, Darcy Moorehouse, and Troy Urban. The world awaits the product of those sessions!
